"Star Captain that is the 6th ship we caught, this is a good station we may need more fighters here."

"here comes another ship jumping in everyone stay clear,' The first voice say' GO GO GO he in hit him."

"LIAO Ship this is the Republic Of the Sphere TASK FORCE 23.1 COMMANDER. Stand down and prepare to be boarded. Do not power up your weapons systems"

Liao Ship begins to launch fighters, once out of ship those fighters begin to take hit from the 500 plus fighters in combat space patrol at the jump
point. Soon the ship begins to take hits near the engines.

The task force commander ordered that the engines of the ship be disabled, a number of fighters with anti ship missiles head for the engines. Two of the ships three engines are disabled and the third is heavily damaged.

"This is Commander Capellan Cruiser Gan YI, we understand the current situation and request you cease firing" the holo vid shakes as the Gan YI is struck by 6 Killer Whale missiles that had been fired by the Republic Battle Fleet. The missiles do extensive damage and vent a lot of area to space.

"This is the Battleship TEXAS, of the Republic of the Sphere 2nd Fleet, Admiral Brantley commanding I accept your surrender. I am Sorry that not one of your fighters survive the engagement, I will order our Search and Rescue craft to search for any survivors.

EXCERPTS From the TASK FORCE 23.1 log at the ZURICH JUMP POINT.

We have receive reports from the Fleet 3 strike groups, 1 at Zurich, 1 at Alderban and 1 at Zion. that 68 Liao and their Allies or contracted jumpships and warships have been intercepted, capture or destroyed. The Crews are being transferred to the planet surface. Where we send them to the cities. we are currently all three space ports on the planets with a force of 6 regiments, that had come in from Terra and the Fortress Republic.

Each task Group has 3 fast Battleship of the Confederate class (a new battleship), 5 Carriers (with fighters) 7 Cruisers and a bunch of destroyers and Frigates, with over 1500 fighters.

News from the Front.

Menkalinan was completely recaptures 2 days ago, the 7845 provisional Brigade composed of three newly arrived regiment from Fortress Republic have began setting up their bases on Menkalinan.

Saiph: The original division sent to the planet has been hammered rather hard on the Ground. At Midnight last night the 5th Reconnaissance Regiment 5th Marine Division conducted 54 raids on bases used by the Liao fighters and aircraft, as well as garrison depots. All raids were extremely successful, but the cost was heavy I lost 18 teams.

At 6 am the 5th Marine Division and 6th Marine Division landed on Saiph and linked up with the Republic Forces on the Ground, both divisions have their divisional Fleet Air Groups, and once on the Ground have come under the command of the 2 Marine Expeditionary Force, Lieutenant General Henry "Holland" Smith, commanding.
